Recently, Gurnee's Francis Gordon participated in the United Way of Lake County's Reading Success Program initiative. Francis worked with students that have been identified as needing extra one-on-one tutoring to improve the reading skills. Nancy Piasecki from the Mundelein location participates in both the Mundelein Vernon Hills Rotary Club as well as the Mundelein Community Connections. Mundelein Community Connections is a not-for-profit corporation formed in 1993 to renew interest and investment in downtown Mundelein.
